Produced with an uncompromising devotion to quality from grain to glass, HORIZON is the first single malt of Alfred GIRAUD. We marry and mature two distinct distillates from our Saint Palais distillery in cognac and new French and American oak casks, creating the aromatic base. In parallel, we age a select number of our whiskies in high-quality casks, including old cognac, Bordeaux Grand Cru Classé and pineau. The final marriage of all these malts matures in old cognac casks. Altogether, a total of fourteen different types of casks infuse their unique qualities into this complex single malt, giving HORIZON the characteristic elegance and balance of the Alfred GIRAUD style.
